Short pitch

Dante and Virgil have returned to Hell, but a brand new one, tailor-made for the sinners of the Modern Age: violent for racial, sexual, and factional causes, polluters, cement manufacturers, serial killers, financial speculators, mafiosi, dealers of illusions of all kinds, and, of course, politicians of all stripes. Seven hundred years after their first journey, the two poets descend once again among the damned to discover what awaits those who did not behave well in life in the afterlife. Marcello brings his Dante back to the stage, replacing the Florentine’s invectives with his own, sparing no one, first in tercets of hendecasyllables as in Alighieri’s original poem, and then in his usual comic strip version. An unprecedented, successful experiment that combines verse and speech bubbles, making us smile and reflect.
